I found myself surrounded, it was an apocalyptic scene.

Zombie mothers, fathers and babies hobbled from Hemisfair Park to the Alamo last night, catching tourists off guard and swarming a stretch of downtown San Antonio for the city’s annual Zombie Walk.

For it’s sixth year, the pre-Halloween tradition pulled in thousands of walkers, each costumed to play their role in a zombie fantasy. Among them were adorable infant zombies, blood smeared zombie pets, and the hopelessly outnumbered zombie-hunters. It played out much as I expect an actual zombie apocalypse in San Antonio might: as a family affair.
