The understanding and development of information technology is more the modern-day equivalent of providing and maintaining book stacks. Literacy is still the ability to read and comprehend, and in the interest of ever being taken seriously as an educated city, we’d do well to remember that.

  2. seriously, Ford Powell Carson Architects have done our Museum Reach, Oklahoma City Riverwalk, Woodlands Riverwak and currently on a china’s 2nd oldest city planning a riverwalk also. Let’s pay attention which local firm gets the jump on them.

  3. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, we can do better than a walled compound in the urban core. Great urban design is an economic driver connecting our past with our future.

  4. I was excited to read about the removal of the 1972 Gondek addition of the Bexar County Courthouse. Perhaps we can remove the judges’ personal parking lot too so the public can uitilize Main Avenue as a main street!
