Red Dot Art Sale | Blue Star Contemporary
Blue Star/Red Dot is San Antonio’s most highly anticipated art sale of year, providing the opportunity to purchase contemporary artwork selected by collectors from around the state AND support San Antonio’s premier contemporary art institution. Blue Star’s annual Red Dot fundraiser has raised essential funding for operational support as well as exhibitions, MOSAIC educational programming, lectures, workshops, and family activities.

JLSA Bright Shawl Gallery features Watercolor Exhibit
Works from the Texas Watercolor Society will be featured at the Junior League of San Antonio’s Bright Shawl Gallery this spring. The exhibition opens Thursday, April 4 and runs through May 30.
The public is invited to attend the awards ceremony and exhibit party on May 11. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the artists and witness the selection of the exhibition’s winning art piece. All of the pieces on display are available for sale as well.

2013 Summer Youth Football Camp Hosted by Eric Dickerson
Pro-Football Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson is hosting this summers football camp. Youth entering 2nd grade – high school for the 2013-2014 school year are invited to register. Every athlete will receive a pre-authographed T-Shirt and refreshments. Boys and Girls Welcome!! Parents can watch their children from the stands!
Camp days are June 8 and June 9 from 9AM – 1PM.
Cost: $30 per day per athlete.
This is an instructional camp put on by Judson Education Foundation, Eric Dickerson Foundation and Judson Youth Sports Foundation. Eric Dickerson, whose portfolio consists of 11-years in the NFL and selected All-Pro six times, will be joined with 3 other Pro-Football players.

5th Annual RiverTini Pour-Off Stirs Up Fun and Funds
The RiverTini Pour-Off is an annual event and fundraiser over 20 of the city’s top bars and restaurants mixing specialty martinis and competing to take home the prize for this year’s best martini. This event will benefit the San Antonio River Foundation and celebrate the ongoing efforts to bring recreation, public art and educational opportunities to life along the San Antonio River.

Witte Museum’s Annual Fiesta Exhibition
Don’t miss the Witte’s annual Fiesta exhibition! This year’s exhibit pays homage to the military, who has played a vital role in Fiesta since the first Battle of Flowers Parade in 1891. Patriotism and Pageantry features the coronation robes of the Duchesses of the Armed Forces as well as other coronation robes celebrating patriotic themes. Additionally, historic photographs highlight the military’s participation. A highlight of this year is the dress worn by Cornelia Dumas Herff, Princess of the Court of the Lone Star, Honoring Texas Annexation to the United States, 1976. The bodice of the bright red velvet dress is covered with the wing-tip of an eagle worked in silver lame and rhinestones. The train features the eagle with outstretched wings, the seal of the United States is depicted on the train in silver lame with red, silver and blue sequins. Admission: $10 adults (12-64); $9 seniors (65+); $7 children (4-11); free for children 3 and under.
