On June 23, Something Monday will head to the The Brooklynite, where we will join in on the sneak peak of a new documentary, “Cocktail Culture: City on the Rise.”

We will depart on our casual, social bike ride at 6:30 p.m. from the San Antonio B-Cycle station in the Full Goods building parking lot at The Pearl. From there we will take a short cruise to The Brooklynite located at 516 Brooklyn Ave. If you decide you do not want to ride, feel free to meet us there; the preview will be shown at 7 p.m. sharp.

The film is a collaboration between Jeret Peña, owner of The Brooklynite and Stay Golden Social House, and Frank Bernal, an NYC filmmaker from San Antonio. The documentary showcases some of the amazing establishments that have put in a lot of hard work to bring the true craft of cocktails to San Antonio. There will be special cocktail list for the evening, with proceeds going directly to the film, which will be released this summer.
