Julia Celeste Rosenfeld has been writing about food in San Antonio since 1979. Among other writing jobs, she spent 14 years as the restaurant reviewer for San Antonio Magazine and served as the local Zagat Guide editor. Julia also owns/operates Food Chick Tours which introduces visitors and locals to the creativity of local independent chefs and restaurants, and brings attention to regional food producers. She had just finalized plans with 45 of the city’s top chefs and restaurants for a new cookbook, San Antonio Cooks, when the pandemic stuck a fork in those plans. The work will hopefully resume soon.
