As part of Dream Week 2018, LiftFund’s Young Professionals Network (YPN) will host a community discussion on economic disparity in San Antonio. Speakers include: Janie Barrera, President & CEO of LiftFund; Tommy Calvert; Bexar County Commissioner, Pct. 4; Greg Brockhouse, Councilman for San Antonio’s City Council for D6; Lorenzo Gomez, Chairman at Geekdom & The 80/20 Foundation; Christine Drennon, Ph. D., Director of Urban Studies and Associate Professor of Sociology & Anthropology at Trinity University. This event will be moderated by Robert Rivard, Founder and Publisher of The Rivard Report.

In partnership with Southwest School of Art, the Rivard Report invites its members to the opening reception of Common Currents on February 15 from 5:30 – 7:30. The reception will include appetizers, beer & wine as well as an exclusive talk by Chad Dawkins, Director of Exhibitions at Southwest School of Art, on the multi-venue exhibition celebrating San Antonio’s Tricentennial.
