Some sample of employee reviews posted at Glkassdoor:

“Competitive pay Great benefits Flexible schedules for many positions. Good advancement opportunities if you seek them out. Customers are great as is the savings on own brand items. Most own brand items are comparable or better to the national brand there are also many H-E-B only items. Company has been around since 1905 and has survived many economic glitches that took out larger companies. Very relaxed yet professional culture”

“Most open, transparent, and employee friendly place I have ever seen. Management does a wonderful job at putting their Partners first. Great at keeping up with the latest in advancing technology. Time flies by very quickly in this fast paced environment! No slow days here! Many, many different kinds of positions … there’s something for everyone!”

For those of you who are not aware, HEB Is not a nationwide company, HEB is a Texas food retailer with several stores in Mexico, and it is an honor to be working for the 3rd ranked CEO OF THE NATION. We are very proud and loyal partners to a great company. Thank You Mr. Butt, team, & community for all you do to make this company a continued success!!!!

      Congratulation Charles Butt!
We have also had the pleasure of meeting/dining with him at the HALL OF FAME Banquet HEB hosts for their Million Mile Drivers yearly..
Outstanding company & we feel blessed.

  5. HEB is an awesome company to work for!! Best grocery store ever!very proud to work in the west Texas 382 store, great bosses, and great partners!!

  6. I love to shop at HEB, because the food is fresh and the people who work there are very nice and helpful! HEB is the ONLY place I buy seafood, since I live in North Texas and I am not close to the ocean. The seafood is frozen, but very fresh unlike other stores in my area. I, also, love the sales and HEB brand products…HEB is a VERY good store and I hope a store will move closer to my home, but I will drive to get there, those miles of around 30 miles or so.
