Submission Guidelines

The Rivard Report welcomes community conversation and is open to all points of view expressed with respect for other contributors and their opinions.

Have something to say or a photo, video, or slideshow to share? We’d love to hear from you. Send it over and we’ll check it out.

We’ve been honored to publish work from journalists, business professionals, academia, city officials, bloggers, and anyone who has something relevant, thought-provoking, creative, and/or entertaining to say to San Antonio’s urban core community.

Submissions should be 700-1000 words in length and sent as a Word document, in the body of an email, or as a Google Doc to Contributors are encouraged to include relevant photographs suitable for posting.

Note: Submissions that completely ignore these guidelines will not be considered. If you have any questions about this process, please let us know.

Photographers are invited to submit photo galleries with a maximum 20 photographs. Contact if you’ve questions or a story to pitch.

The Rivard Report reserves the right to reject submissions because of inappropriate content, or if the submission addresses topics unrelated to the focus of this website. We also reserve the right to edit submissions for grammar, clarity, and length.
