Submission Guidelines

The Rivard Report is a community conversation open to all points of view expressed with respect for other contributors and their opinions.

Have something to say or a photo, video or slideshow to share? We’d love to hear from you. Send it over and we’ll check it out.

We’ve been honored to publish work from journalists, business professionals, academia, city officials, bloggers and anyone that has something relevant, thought provoking, creative, and/or entertaining to say to San Antonio’s urban core community.

Submissions should be 700-900 words and sent as a Word document, in the body of an email, or as a Google Doc to Contributors are encouraged to include relevant photographs and/or short videos suitable for posting.

Note: Submissions that completely ignore these guidelines will not be considered. If you have any questions about this process, please let us know.

Photographers are invited to submit photo galleries with a maximum 20 photographs, contact if you’ve questions or a story to pitch.

Rivard Report reserves the right to reject submissions because of inappropriate content, or if the submission addresses topics unrelated to the focus of this website. We also reserve the right to edit submissions for grammar, clarity and length. Our goal is to publish your article as submitted whenever possible.
