Book lovers in San Antonio know that the biggest day of the year is “the Saturday before Fiesta.”

This past year saw a number of highlights at San Antonio’s unique collaborative co-working space, also known as “Geekdom.” Now located on the sixth and seventh floors of the historic Rand Building on East Houston Street, Geekdom has plans to occupy the entire eight-floor building to better serve “innovators, entrepreneurs and geeks of every kind,” according to Lorenzo Gomez III, Geekdom’s director.
During the 2013-2014 school year, average in-state tuition and fees totaled $8,893 for a public, four-year institution – a figure almost guaranteed to rise each year.
