The Texas Department of Transportation aims to build elevated lanes between from Loop 410 South – near AT&T Center Parkway – to Farm Road 3009 in Schertz.
Starting Friday, the Northeast stretch of Interstate 35 between Rittiman Road and George Beach Avenue will be closed in both directions for four days.
The Alamo Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (AAMPO) met on Monday to discuss transportation issues, such as the Lone Star Rail District (LSRD), which received special attention due to a recent conflict between the LSRD, the Capitol Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO), and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
Funding discussions for the multi-billion dollar Lone Star Rail District (LSRD) project were pushed back to 2016 during a City Council meeting on Wednesday.
