More than 22,000 runners took to the slick streets of downtown San Antonio Sunday during the 10th annual Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll marathon.
For the 26,000 runners registered for the annual Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll marathon, this weekend provides an opportunity to experience a community runner’s high. For San Antonio motorists, the marathon and several associated events means navigating road closures.
More than 10 years ago, Sheryl Sculley was hired as San Antonio’s city manager in November 2005.
It was perfect marathon weather in San Antonio Sunday morning with clear skies, temperatures in the high 40s at the starting line, and warming into the 50s and 60s over the morning, depending on how long it took individual runners to complete the 26.2-mile marathon or the 13.1-mile half marathon.
About 25,000 folks took to the streets Sunday to take part in the sixth edition of the San Antonio Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon.
