Community members began brainstorming the future of Rodriguez Elementary – a West Side SAISD school that closed after securing five consecutive failing grades from the State.
The Texas Education Agency released its ratings for all districts and campuses Wednesday following an overhaul of the state accountability system.
Ultimately, the district plans to open a different school at Rodriguez Elementary’s same location in the 2020-21 school year.
