SAWS proposed a 5.8% increase for 2018 and a subsequent 4.7% increase for 2019.
The SAWS Board unanimously approved its $13 million budget for 2017 that includes a lower-than-expected 6.8% rate increase for SAWS customers.
SAWS customers will be receiving a notice in the mail this week about the coming 6.8% rate increase for 2017.
