Two months after CPS Energy presented plans to install smart meters in Alamo Heights, the City Council there heard from more than a dozen residents express concerns about health and safety risks.

CPS Energy Rolling Out Smart Meters

CPS Energy will begin deploying installation crews Monday to replace analog electric meters with the first of what eventually will be 740,000 smart meters in San Antonio.
