  1. In the top photo both look like they just got caught red-handed chopping down the cherry trees – more like the Heritage Oak Trees that is…while Taylor’s secretly planning to squeeze in that soccer stadium. -Just a cartoon idea that comes to mind.

  2. Glass wall or no glass wall, if it is going to be a close space, how are they going to keep it close?
Wall, fence will restrict access to the open space we have today.

  3. As someone who remembers Davy Crockett celebrations in the 50’s, I look forward to seeing the Alamo having a place, possibly similar to the peaceful area surrounding Mission Concepcion. A large barren area, if built, will be resurfaced with trees and gardens after one miserable August. I believe the “feel” of the area will probably be remembered…. more than the “look.”

  4. I appreciate Ron taking a leadership position on maintaining the civic nature of this important gathering space….clear direction is really helpful…thank you Ron

  5. Leave all natural grown trees etc. In place, putting up glass walls will cause a distraction for drivers to be distracted as local and foreign tourists w as long on the grounds. Do not take a part of our city and replace it with worthless glass.
The money for this SO CALLED PROJECT NEEDS TO BE PUT INTO THE NEIGHBORHOODS NO IF ANDS OR BUTS….
