  1. Thoughts and prayers are not enough from lawmakers like Gov. Abbott, Lt. Gov. Patrick, and Sen. Cruz. What will be the policy response from these pro-gun leaders of our state?

We experienced the worst mass shooting just last year at the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando where 49 people were killed and 60 injured. Yesterday, we set a new tragic record for the worst shooting with at least 50 killed and 400 people injured in Las Vegas.

What is it going to take to get the people in charge to care? At this point, our state and national leaders are more afraid of the NRA’s superPAC than they are of mass shooters like Stephen Paddock or Omar Mateen. Shame on them.

  2. The one thing all these politicians have in common in regard to this insane tragedy is the word “prayer”. If I believed for one moment anyone of them truly followed the word and works of Jesus, then I would take solace. However it is a true turn off and I consider it blasphemous. To support what created this disaster and NOT take action is a true disaster of the same magnitude as the shooting! SHAME on all of you!!!
I do not believe a word out of your mouths especially since you preface it with the word “prayer”.

  3. Agree with the comments above. There is no god. All this prayer crap does absolutely nothing. Change policy or get voted out of office. How is owning a gun a right, while having healthcare a privilege.
